Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturing equipment supplier, as an Accounting Specialist.  Job Summary: We are searching for a skilled specialist to join the finance team to help process invoices and record payments in an accurate and efficient manner. The accounting specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact towards maintaining customer relationships, supporting accurate monthly reporting and maintenance of customers’ accounts.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support the company in accurate financial transactions
  • Efficient and accurate invoice processing through customer portals
  • Support timely application of payments
  • Generate weekly checks to vendors
  • Ensure timely completion of financial transactions and payment of company bills
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounting processes
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of financial data
  • Process invoices to customers
  • Complete journal entries to correct errors
  • Accurately record payments on account
  • Reconcile customer accounts
  • Process customer statements
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide appropriate documentation
  • Coordinate resolution of discrepancies with internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed with focus on accuracy
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures
  • Competency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • Large ERP experience
  • College degree or in process preferred
 Shift Schedule: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
 Pay Rate: $18-22/Hour, Based on Experience
