Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual to join a growing team at a leading automotive bearing manufacturer in West Union, SC! The Quality Auditor is responsible for providing quality support services where needed in the plant. 

Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual, gauge, and dimensional inspections on samples of parts to determine whether the associated Order is within specification per the Operation Sheet.
  • Verify prior processes are correctly signed off on the operation sheets
  • Responsible for filling out daily production reports as well as other documentation
  • Meet productivity goals/ targets.
  • Complete required paperwork correctly and without error.
  • Adhere to company policies & regulations according to safety and environmental issues
  • Make accurate decisions in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
  • Satisfactory attendance (maintaining less than 2 attendance points at all times).
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of manufacturing at a single location
  • Experience with calipers and micrometers
  • Must be able to understand and use a variety of gauges, calipers and micrometers.
  • Work overtime and weekends when required.
