Job Description

An EHS Technician is needed at a global leader in critical IT infrastructure in Anderson, SC. We are seeking a candidate with a strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a willingness to expand their knowledge and participation in safety, training, and development. This is a Direct Hire position with benefits and opportunity for growth!

Responsibilities:
  • Performing safety/environmental/housekeeping audits
  • Performing annual JSAs on existing and new equipment
  • Assist in annually required trainings for all departments.
  • Perform specific certification training involving certification for ariel lift, forklift, crane, etc. 
  • Scheduling and assisting with various safety training and drills (Evac, Emergency Response, Powered Industrial Truck, etc.)
  • Maintaining records such as audit spreadsheets, incident reports and follow-ups, training rosters, SDS database reviews
  • Researching and placing orders for PPE and other safety related items as required
  • Monitoring and assisting Supervisors with ensuring PPE and technique requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of EHS, preferable in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with conducting specific task and certification training
  • Experience in First Aid as a responder
  • Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Outlook (PowerPoint and/or Access a plus)
  • Some safety and/or environmental training (OSHA 30 Hour, DOT/RCRA, PIT Trainer preferred)
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift
