Job Description

This position requires familiarity with the repair and maintenance needs of various CNC Machinery such as lathes, mills, and multi-axis machinery (Okuma, Haas, Doosan).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Development and upkeep of facility and machine preventative maintenance schedule
  • Ensure timely completion of all maintenance related tasks
  • Coordinate with outside vendors when necessary to resolve issues
SPECIFIC DUTIES ASSIGNED:
  • Complete varied routine maintenance on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis
  • Create & maintain a maintenance schedule for facility and machine needs, update as needed
  • Track all maintenance issues and communicate to management in a timely manner
  • Confer with management and/or production teams daily to determine repair/maintenance priorities
  • Notify manufacturing teams of any changes, delays, or interruptions to repairs/maintenance
  • Store and maintain maintenance-related inventory, advise purchasing department of needs
  • Perform routine facility maintenance (i.e. clear duct returns, ensure machinery fans are clear of dust/debris, etc.)
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for completion of tasks when necessary (i.e. plumbing/electrical needs)
  • Complete/coordinate inspection of building or building features as required by state, local, federal governance
  • Complete custodial tasks as needed/required (i.e. mopping, utilizing floor scrubber, etc.)
  • Ensure a safe work environment by practicing good housekeeping and being a leader by example
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must possess and be able to produce a verifiable High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum 5 years of facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production environment
